The ANES Time Series is the long-running academic election survey, fielded before and after each presidential election since 1948. The 2016 study interviewed 4,270 adults (3,648 of them again after the election) in a mixed face-to-face and web design. Beyond vote choice it carries a religion battery and, in the post-election wave, a moral-traditionalism and gender-role battery: whether it is better if the man works and the woman keeps the home, whether a working mother can bond with her child, and whether society needs more emphasis on traditional family ties. ANES's full religion summary codes Latter-day Saints separately (52 respondents, 43 with a post-election interview), so those items can be broken out by tradition.
