The Faith Matters Survey is the national survey behind Robert Putnam and David Campbell's American Grace: How Religion Divides and Unites Us (2010) — 3,108 U.S. adults interviewed by telephone in summer 2006 on religious practice, belief, congregational life, giving, volunteering, and attitudes toward other religious groups. Unlike the standard seven-category RELTRAD typology, its own religious-tradition coding keeps Latter-day Saints as a separate category (53 respondents), so every item asked of the full sample can be broken out by tradition. This copy is redistributed by Ryan Burge (github.com/ryanburge); the charts here use only the full-sample items — the survey's split-sample battery leaves the Latter-day Saint cell too thin to report.
