2011 National Survey of Mormons

Rather than surveying the general public about Mormons, this 2011 study surveyed 1,019 self-identified Mormon adults directly — what they believe, how they practice, and how accepted they feel in American society. Interviews were conducted Oct. 25–Nov. 16, 2011 by telephone (landline and cell) in English and Spanish, oversampling counties with the largest Mormon populations and recontacting self-identified Mormons from earlier Pew and SSRS surveys. The resulting report, "Mormons in America," was released in January 2012.
