Abstract

Nationally representative survey of 36,908 U.S. adults (July 2023–March 2024), address-based sampling. Paired with 2007 and 2014 waves for trend analysis. LDS margin of error ±6.2 points.

Findings for Latter-day Saints

LDS share of the U.S. virtually unchanged across all three waves (~2%).
LDS rank at or near the top on weekly attendance, daily prayer, scripture reading, and "religion very important."
U.S. Christian decline has slowed or leveled off in the most recent wave.
